Xiaomi has revolutionized the smartphone market in an enticing and exciting way and especially in the Indian market where the possibilities and opportunities are endless, MI has established itself as an electronics giant. Xiaomi just hosted its Smarter living 2020 portfolio, and it also launched its new range of products. During the event, MI introduced and unveiled many smart home products and they also launched the very anticipated Mi Band 4. It was also the highlight of the event. Xiaomi is calling their new band – Mi Smart Band 4 whereas their earlier versions were referred to just as Mi Band.

Xiaomi has priced its new Band 4 at Rs 2,299. It will be available to buy in India from September 19 for the first time and the price that they are giving it is also quite affordable considering the features it is equipped with. It will be available to buy from Mi Home store, Mi website and also on Amazon. Mi Smart Band 4 will be available in 5 colors – Orange, Purple, Beige, Burgundy, and Black.

Mi smart band 4 was launched in China earlier this year in June and it was an instant hit over there. Since then, Indian buyers were waiting and anticipating the arrival of the new and updated Mi band. Amazon.in and Mi.com have already listed, where you can register by just tapping the “Notify Me” button and you will be notified once the sale is on.

Mi Smart Band 4 Specifications

Just like its predecessors, Mi Smart Band 4 comes equipped with a rubber band although for the first time Mi has used a full-colored AMOLED display for their band. Mi has introduced many upgrades on Band 4 as compared to Mi Band 3.

Mi Smart Band 4 comes with a 0.95 inch-AMOLED full-color touch-enabled display with 240 × 120 p resolution and 2.5D curved glass for protection. Users will be able to get various types of notification on the screen like SMS, Whatsapp messages, fitness tracking and many more. You will also be able to control the music playback of your smartphones. It is powered by a 135mAh lithium polymer battery which can go on for 20 days with a single charge.

It has a 6 axis accelerometer that can effectively track running, cycling, walking, step monitoring and other workout activities. Mi smart band 4 can resist water up to 50 meters. The accelerometer can now also detect which swimming style you are using like freestyle, backstroke, butterfly stroke and medley, and can assess your swimming skills by generating a SWOLF score.

You can also command the new Mi Smart Band 4 with voice commands via the inbuilt microphone. It has a PPG heart rate sensor and it has Bluetooth 5.0 BLE connectivity and can be connected across multiple devices. Mi has upgraded a lot in their new device without raising the price tag very high. Safe to say, Mi Smart Band 4 is a great deal.
